A Bride’s Guide to Wedding Photography

Images that live with you for a lifetime!

Hi beautiful bride-to-be!

We’re so excited to be part of your special day. To help you feel confident and prepared, here's a breakdown of the types of photos we'll capture throughout your wedding day. From the quiet moments to the loud celebrations, we’ve got it all covered. For maximum coverage with maximum photos, we recommend booking full day of photography coverage which is about eight hours.

  1. Getting Ready

These are the calm-before-the-storm moments filled with anticipation and excitement.

What we’ll capture:

  • Bridal portraits in robe or dress

  • Dress, shoes, jewelry, and flat lay details

  • Hair and makeup moments

  • Bride with bridesmaids/family

  • Candid laughter, nerves, and champagne toasts
(If groom coverage is included: same applies on his side too!)

2. The First Look (Optional)

If you’re doing a first look, this is one of the most emotional parts of the day.

What we’ll capture:

  • The big reveal moment

  • Raw reactions: tears, smiles, laughs

  • Intimate portraits right after the first look

  • A few quiet minutes just for the two of you

3. Ceremony

This is the heart of the day. We’ll be discreet but everywhere.

What we’ll capture:

  • Venue shots and decor

  • Processional and walk down the aisle

  • Groom’s reaction

  • Vows, rings, first kiss

  • Wide shots, close-ups, and candid guest reactions

  • The joyful recessional

4. Family & Group Photos

Organized, fast, and beautifully lit portraits with your loved ones.

What we’ll capture:

  • Family combinations (you'll give us a list!)

  • Wedding party portraits

  • Fun and classic group shots

5. Couple Portraits

This is where you shine. These are the romantic, timeless shots you'll hang on your wall.

What we’ll capture:

  • Editorial-style couple portraits

  • Candid and posed shots

  • Natural light and golden hour moments (if timing allows)

  • Any cultural outfits or special locations

6. Reception & Celebration

Time to party! We’ll be blending in to catch the vibe and all the energy.

What we’ll capture:

  • Reception decor and details before guests enter

  • Grand entrance, speeches, and cake cutting

  • First dance, parent dances

  • Candid guest reactions

  • Party, dancing, and spontaneous moments

  • Nighttime shots (if scheduled)

7. Cultural & Personal Traditions

Whether you're having a tea ceremony, baraat, or a Western-style celebration, we’re here to capture the essence of your heritage and love story.

What we’ll capture:

  • Ceremonial rituals and meaningful symbols

  • Emotional moments with parents or elders

  • Any surprise performances or traditions

Final Tips:

  • Share your timeline with us in advance so we can plan light and location.

  • Have a family photo list ready if you want formal combinations.

  • Bring your personality! We’ll guide you, but your love story is what makes the magic.

We’re here to tell your story, not just take pictures. So breathe, be present, and trust us to capture the real, raw, and beautiful moments you’ll want to relive forever.
